A path of perseverance
Today, I observe a gathering taking place in Verónica Gutgar’s workshop. Nine women are reflecting on their perspectives, taking the time to think, speak, and discover their art and path in life.
The ANSPAC association of Mexico has been organizing these activities for more than sixteen years, aiming to remind us that hope is built within a community.
This is a form of volunteering that goes beyond the simple exchange of experiences; here, feelings, thoughts, and reactions are analyzed with a clear purpose: to create a space for introspection where values serve as the foundation for self-discovery, and where women can support one another to grow stronger together through conversation.
“An action without vision loses its meaning.”
This phrase is repeated throughout the gathering like a mantra, reminding us that reaching the goals we set for ourselves requires determination and passion. It reinforces the idea that actions carried out with intention and effort leave a lasting mark on the world. This meeting is a testament to the fact that every woman has within her the power to create, transform, and inspire. With each conversation and shared reflection, new opportunities are built to grow and strengthen one another.
Perseverance is the sister of strength, and together, they give rise to virtue. This force—the one that drives and creates—takes shape in Verónica Gutgar’s hands, transforming into haute couture, meticulously designed patterns, and garments that do more than dress bodies; they carry the pure energy of someone who has found her path and purpose in design. Because the art of perseverance, translated into every stitch, is reflected not only in the most exquisite dresses and skirts but also in every woman who chooses to face her fears, challenge her limits, and design her own destiny.
