A few weeks ago, Verónica opened the door of her workshop to Encarni.
Encarni who had been told that, in order to dress for her son’s wedding, she absolutely had to meet Verónica.
Encarni who sat in front of Verónica to unravel her fears and aspirations, just like so many others who pass through the studio.
It’s no lie when people say that “things happen” in Verónica Gutgar’s studio. There is a contradictory energy, an energy that feels light yet deeper than usual, and I firmly believe that it is thanks to this pulse that beats through Verónica, through which the most precious garments and the truest understandings with you are born.

Encarni’s dress, like all dresses, had to go through the hands of design, pattern-making, cutting, and tailoring; but for the first phase, Verónica still had to decipher what she expected from the garment without her saying it aloud. She did so with the patience of someone who knows that words sometimes fall short. She observed her hands, gently twisting in her lap, the subtle gestures that revealed more than the woman imagined.

And so the ritual began. Sketches born from air and instinct. Fabrics spread out like cards of fate. Fittings in front of the mirror, where every fold and every drape revealed not just a silhouette but a state of the soul.
With each visit, the Encarni gradually shed her hesitation. Until one day, she saw herself in the reflection and knew—without the need for words—that the dress was ready.
A crepe-satin dress in a blush pink tone, with an elegant and understated drape that enhanced the sophistication of the design and its comfort. The light was captured not only by the fabric’s natural sheen but also through meticulously selected crystal buttons. Additionally, the sash, inspired by Japanese aesthetics, consisted of four asymmetrical pieces with a double structure that merged into a classic bow, forming a timeless design. All these elements came together to create a balanced and flattering silhouette.

A piece that exuded elegance, simplicity, and sophistication—tailored to enhance her figure and imbue Encarni with the strength she would need to face her only son’s wedding with excitement.
