Cristina & Maribel
Mothers, symbols of resilience and strength, are always facing challenges with love, but there are days when they must pause and breathe… they say one of those days is when your daughter gets married.

Cristina and Maribel came to the studio with the dream of creating the perfect garments together: a wedding dress and a mother-of-the-bride dress, bound by the same story.
The studio transformed into an explosion of fabrics, patterns, and stitching, becoming a sanctuary where mother and daughter, alongside Verónica, came together to create something far beyond just two dresses.
Every pleat, every detail, was not merely decorative; they were symbols, carefully considered and full of meaning. It wasn’t just about elegance, but about a deep connection that transcended the visible—like every warp and weft interweaving as a symbol of their shared story.
The wedding outfit transformed into a unique jacket suit—delicate and sophisticated—representing the beginning of a new chapter in Cristina’s life.

The color blue, essential in her life, had to be part of the design, joining a series of symbolic and meticulously chosen details that guided her wedding. The high-waisted pants in a soft stone color were paired with a beautiful top adorned with natural lapis lazuli stones and hand-sewn volcanic berries, imbuing the piece with profound spiritual value.
Lapis lazuli is said to relieve stress, eliminate dizziness, and bring calm, while also harmonizing the mind, emotions, and body—giving the outfit an exceptionally unique meaning.
Then came the coat: with an oriental and contemporary touch, crafted to perfection thanks to the studio’s expert pattern-making.
From the chest pocket emerged a long cobalt blue veil with a hidden message that Cristina asked us to include—an intimate secret shared only with those close to the process.

The message was brought to life with hand embroidery by our in-house embroiderer, making the suit a clear representation of the wearer—for the most important day of her life.
That day, when Cris put on the suit, Maribel saw not only her daughter transformed, but also the strong, dream-filled woman she had raised—ready to walk her own path.

The mother-of-the-bride dress, a handmade tweed gown from a specialized French atelier, paired with pale pink 100% silk chiffon, held just as much significance. It was not only a tribute to her daughter but also to her role as a mother—a figure who has grown stronger and evolved over time.
And so, the love between mother and daughter was immortalized in these two garments—symbols of the resilience, love, and unbreakable bond that will always unite them.
