Verónica Gutgar has always been interested in the “Whole”, the completeness, both in the personal and professional fields. To remain coherent with her most important values, her haute couture pieces are always imagined and designed as an extension of herself.

As a result, these pieces clearly reflect every aspect of her brand: choosing what skills to use, what meetings to organise, and even what fabric to combine. By always working in line with her values, Verónica Gutgar fulfils a holistic vision of creation, where each process must align with her, firstly, and with the world, secondly.

Verónica draws inspiration from herself and her evolutionary processes. In this sense, her first collection, “Singularidad”, is an ode to her personal search and the encounter with her authenticity.

The ten pieces, later completed with four additional pieces designed for fashion shows, represent fourteen aspects of herself and reflect her multiplicity and beauty: La Iniciadora, La Originalidad, La Guerrera, La Feminidad, La Integridad, La Inocencia, La Semilla…

This collection stems from Verónica Gutgar’s discovery of the many women that live inside her, each one of them endowed with a gift that she has been nurturing for years. In order to tell this story, Verónica carefully chose various materials dear to her, such as silk, brocade, tulle, muslins, and pearly organza, all of them natural and biodegradable fabric in firm alignment with her love for sustainability. In combination, she worked with colours such as warm red representing her passion, a vital strength that moves her into creating, giving coherence to the rest of the cream or white pieces. All in all, she created a common thread for her story, one that she wants to tell. Now, in her studio, she lets her soul spread out onto the pattern, drawing the lines of her creations made for women, firming her inspirations and dreams in each stroke.

What could this creation be without commitment?

Verónica Gutgar’s sense of responsibility leads her to collaborate with trusted suppliers. Not only is she a defender of everything local and “Made in Spain”, but she also sources quality fabric and ornaments from around the world.

In this sense, the earth is central to her philosophy, where nature is synonymous with well-being and health, as well as a certain rawness, creating a perfect balance — what Verónica always seeks — between colours, materials, scents, and attributes.

Verónica nourishes her body as well as her mind by using everything the earth has to offer. She designs and produces herself high-quality pieces, bridging the gap between handmade pieces and sustainable haute couture.

The value of her tailored pieces sets her apart from trends that homogenise fashion. The experimentation and reflection process that goes with every new creation allows her ideas to flow freely alongside those of her clients.

In this regard, Verónica’s skills and love of crafting for women lead her to creating a safe space built with trust and delicacy, where they can feel beautiful and confident. With her client, her main goal is to come to a mutual understanding to offer a personalised and caring service.
She encourages them to introspect on their needs and wishes in order to reflect those in the dress that will complete them.

When it comes to meeting new people, Verónica’s enthusiasm is fueled by creativity and she is willing to collaborate with talented seamstresses and designers.

A few times a week, her studio becomes a gathering place for women to meet and learn from each other. They teach her about sewing techniques and artisanal designs like macramé, embroidery or botanical stamping.

She also opens her studio to organisations, such as the ANSPAC España, which promotes personal growth in workshops destined to Mexican women living and working in Alicante. Verónica supports these forms of personal discovery and creation.

Her values also lead her to share her knowledge with fashion enthusiasts via her school, Gutgar Experience. She teaches about pattern design and handmade sewing, giving time to a qualitative formation including personalised support to every student.

With sensitivity, they learn how to overcome difficulties, and receive useful advice to nurture their own vision of sewing, so that creativity and knowledge will never be lost.

From introspection to sharing her knowledge, Verónica Gutgar has developed a coherent brand, deeply feminine and independant. Each day is for her the opportunity to reinforce her identity into her firm, following her most important values: Craftsmanship, Sustainability, Personalization, Coherence, and Transparency.
